Founder & Principal Osteopath
Dr. Ryan Vaux graduated from Victoria University with a Bachelor of Science (Osteopathy) and a Master of Health Science (Osteopathy).
With extensive experience in sports environments, Ryan has developed a strong passion for the prevention, management and rehabilitation of sports-related injuries. He has worked as a Head Sports Trainer and Head Osteopath with local VAFA teams, most recently supporting the Parkdale Vultures through their premiership season.
Ryan has also recently joined Erebus Motorsport as an Osteopath, providing care and support to the team as they compete in the Supercars Championship. Working across both elite motorsport and community-level sport has given Ryan experience in managing athletes across a wide range of injuries, training demands and performance goals.
Prior to focusing on sports and performance, Ryan spent two years providing osteopathic care at a drug and alcohol withdrawal centre in St Kilda. This experience developed his ability to manage complex and persistent pain presentations and reinforced the importance of an individualised approach to healthcare.
Ryan is dedicated to providing practical, goal-focused care that helps people understand their injury, move better, recover effectively and return to the activities that matter to them—whether that's competitive sport, training or everyday life.
Outside the clinic, Ryan enjoys CrossFit and long-distance running, maintaining the active lifestyle he encourages in his patients.
